Terms of Service – The Digital Market

These Terms of Service apply to every visit to and purchase from thedigitalmarket.co.in ("the website"), operated by The Digital Market, Dum Dum Road, Kolkata, West Bengal 700074, India ("we", "us"). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, and to our Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

1. Products and pricing
We sell packaging supplies (polybags, courier bags, packing tape) and reseller kits, mainly for online sellers. All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. Product photos are for representation; actual colour and print may vary slightly. Prices, pack sizes and availability can change without notice, but the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay.

2. Orders and payment
All orders must be prepaid online (UPI, cards, net banking or wallets). Cash on Delivery is not available. An order is confirmed only after payment is received. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, or if an item cannot be supplied; in such cases the full amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

3. Cancellation by the customer
You may cancel an order only before it is packed. Once an order has been packed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation, message us on WhatsApp as soon as possible after ordering. If your order is not dispatched within 7 working days of payment, you may cancel it for a full refund, as described in our Shipping Policy.

4. Shipping and delivery
Dispatch and delivery times are explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address given at checkout.

5. Returns, replacements and refunds
Because our products are consumable packaging supplies, we do not accept returns for change of mind, wrong size ordered, or excess quantity. We only offer a replacement or refund for items that arrive damaged, defective, missing or different from what was ordered, reported within 48 hours of delivery with an uncut unboxing video. 6. Use by sellers and businesses
Many of our customers are online sellers. You are responsible for choosing the correct size and type of packaging for your products and for complying with the packaging rules of any marketplace you sell on (such as Meesho, Flipkart or Amazon). We are not responsible for any marketplace penalty, return, claim, loss of sale or other business loss caused by packaging choice or by a delay in our dispatch or in courier delivery.

7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business.

8. Accounts and communication
You are responsible for giving correct contact and address details. By placing an order, you agree that we may contact you about that order by WhatsApp, SMS, phone or email.

9. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including our name, logo, text and product photos, belongs to The Digital Market and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal.

11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
